Keith’s career as a lawyer has included over 17 years in private practice, acting for multiple clients, including investment and asset management firms, private equity firms, family offices, investment groups as well as multinational corporates.
He also spent over 10 years as an in-house lawyer as general counsel for investment advisory and management firms in the Financial Services and real estate sectors. He has extensive international transactional experience in Growth Markets in Africa, Asia, Central and Eastern Europe, the Middle East and South America.
At Apis, he is responsible for the legal and regulatory compliance requirements of the group, advising on fund matters, investment activities and the advisory arrangements of Apis.
Prior to joining Apis, Keith was Managing Partner and Group General Counsel for Chayton Capital LLP, a Growth Markets focused private equity real estate investment advisor. Prior to that he was a Partner at Dentons (formerly Salans) in their Global Real Estate Group’s M&A and private equity practice.
Keith lives in London and the Cotswolds, is married and enjoys running and cycling. He is a keen marathon runner and a few years back, cycled from Land’s End to John O’Groats covering 969 miles in 9 days.

I would like to say Apis, but in truth it is my family and friends. They make everything else worthwhile.
Music, running and cycling (sometimes together!). Classical music could have been a career (I sing, play the oboe, organ and piano – unfortunately not as proficiently now as in the past) but a career in law won over. As a lawyer, the tools of my trade are words, but music has a language all of its own.
Its drive, ambition, energy, people, integrity and desire to make a difference. A winning combination!
A normal day does not exist. What makes Apis an exciting place to work as a lawyer, is the variety of things that we do. Every day is different.
