Theofilos Kotridis

Theofilos has a successful 20 year career in private equity and investment banking.

Prior to joining Apis, Theofilos was a co-founding partner of TechFin Investments, a growth equity PE firm. Before setting up TechFin Theofilos was the Global Head of Strategic Principal Investments for Global Markets at Credit Suisse, the bank’s private equity group, focusing on a broad spectrum of financial technology companies.

Over the years he ran a portfolio of over 25 companies with more than $1Bn in assets. His portfolio included companies such as Markit, TradeWeb, Euroclear, LCH.Clearnet, the London Metal Exchange, AcadiaSoft amongst others. He has always been a very active investor with participation on the boards of many of his portfolio companies.

Theofilos has also been an external advisor to CVC, the private equity group, advising them on market infrastructure transactions. In addition, he was the Chief Investment Officer of Delta Capita, an owner and operator of capital markets infrastructure. In the past, Theofilos was an M&A banker at Credit Suisse covering TMT and in particular technology companies for financial institutions and systemic financial infrastructure.

Early in his career Theo was a management consultant with Andersen Consulting and Accenture. Theofilos holds an MSc in Enterprise Information Systems from Kings Collage London and a BSc in Computer Science from the University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology.

He is married, with two children.
