Q&A
The most important thing in life for me is building and nurturing genuine relationships. I believe that the connections we make, with colleagues, friends and family, are what truly give life purpose and meaning. When we lead with empathy and care, we not only strengthen our relationships but also inspire others to do the same.
The most important lesson I’ve learned is that change is constant, and adaptability is essential. In the context of HR, working across multiple jurisdictions and cultures has taught me that there’s rarely a one-size-fits-all solution. The ability to stay flexible, listen and adjust approach has been key to building credibility and continuously delivering impact in a global environment.
A focus on positive social impact ensures that growth is both sustainable and inclusive. I believe that when companies commit to doing good as well as doing well, they build more engaged teams, stronger reputations, and resilient operations. For HR, this means nurturing a workforce that’s not only high-performing but also values-driven.
As an HR professional, Apis’s core commitment to generate “returns with responsibility” resonates strongly with me as it means the organisation is fundamentally aligned on doing work that matters and has a positive social impact. I believe having this joint sense of purpose helps to create a workforce that is motivated, engaged and proud of what they do.
