Michael Beavon
Financial Controller
Michael joined Apis from KPMG where he was an Assistant Manager in their Asset Management department. His six years at KPMG was spent in their Dublin and London offices, in which time he attained his chartered accountant qualification (ACA). Michael’s main area of focus was the provision of audit services to hedge funds and investment managers in the private equity/alternative investments space.
Michael lives in south-west London and stays active in his spare time, with a particular interest in 7 a-side football and running.

I would have to say Tel Aviv as it has a bit of absolutely everything; breath-taking landscapes, gorgeous beaches, stunning weather, and it is steeped in culture. Its vibrant nightlife and incredible food means that there is never a shortage of activities. An added bonus is that Jerusalem, which is a truly mesmerising experience, is also easily accessible from Tel Aviv!
Anything that keeps me active. I love weight-lifting and long distance running and I have recently got back into 7-a-side football which is the perfect way to channel my competitive streak! I also love attending live Premier League games.
It provides an increased sense of purpose to my work and added degree of pride. I believe we all feel a great deal more satisfied when we know we are contributing to the greater good. From a commercial point of view, a business that creates positive social impact is inevitably more sustainable in the long run.
Apis has a clear and distinct sense of purpose and underpinning this is an entrepreneurial spirit with a genuine desire to add value within the markets we operate in.
